02 / Ecommerce & retailILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

Starting situation

An online store promotes several product benefits in its ads, while the destination page leads with a different message. Delivery information appears late and customers encounter unexpected steps at checkout.

The working hypothesis

Customers need continuity and practical answers. More creative variations will be difficult to interpret until the product page and payment journey support the same offer.

The sequence of work

Select a product group. Compare campaign promises with page content and support questions. Prepare revised page sections, align a small set of creative concepts and review payment success, failure and confirmation states.

The handover

An offer-to-page message map, revised content briefs, a creative comparison plan and a checkout acceptance checklist for implementation.

What would be evaluated

Progression from the product page to payment, purchase completion and changes in customer questions. Interpretation includes returns, discounts and product mix rather than treating all orders as equivalent.
